GAME TIMES

COMPLEX - 5:45 start

Games that start at 5:45pm at the Complex.

At 7:30 - No new inning can be started 

 At 7:45 - There is a drop dead "end of game" - score reverts to previous inning when applicable.

 It doesn't matter when the 1st pitch was thrown or when the game actually started - so get them started at 5:45 

 COMPLEX - 8:00 start

Games that start at 8:00pm at the Complex

 You should be on the field warming up at 7:45pm.

 At 9:45 - No new inning can be started

 At 10:00 - There is a drop dead "end of game" - score reverts to previous inning when applicable.

 Hustle in and off the field. This is plenty of time to play a complete game.

Get the dugouts emptied quick and discuss your teams efforts outside the dugout

 OTHER FIELDS

 No new inning can start after 1 hour and 45 minutes. Tell the umpire this before hand and discuss with other manager also. I know some of these games may run a bit over 2-hours if timing is just right. The game starts when its supposed to and if it doesn't then the time is not added to the game. I can see an exception being made if both managers are OK and there is no game following yours. There is no "Drop Dead" revert in HAC's other fields - Only the Complex. These game time rules are in place by Orland Hills also. I cannot speak for Mokena and or Frankfort. You should ask the Umpire or opposing Manager before game time.

Teams play a 10 to 16 game schedule plus playoff of umpired games on regulation fields. The season will run from April to the end of June.  Divisions are broken into 2 year age groups of Shetland 5-6 (Coed T-Ball), Pinto 7-8, Mustang 9-10, Bronco 11-12, Pony 13-14, and Colt 15-18.  Games are held weekdays @ 5:45 pm (5:15 for pre-game practice) and Saturdays for the most divisions.

HAC Softball is a member of ASA Amateur Softball Association.   We follow the rules and regulations that are outlined within the ASA Code.  Exceptions to these rules can be found under each league's rules page
