In an effort  to keep our community families informed of Homer Athletic Club events and news, we will be sending monthly updates. Please consider following us on Facebook as another avenue to keep informed.

HAC BOARD NEWS

We have a new 2020-21 HAC Board to announce:

    Andrew Rodeghero - President
    Jen Malinoski - Second VP, Secretary, Volleyball
    Kate Melody - Third VP, Treasurer, Basketball
    Chris Malinoski - VP, Baseball
    Brian DeSoto - Sponsorship
    Ray Thompson - Field Maintenance
    Dave Lavaty - VP, Softball

Each member of our volunteer board appreciates every family, their participation in, and support of Homer Athletic Club programs.

With that said, volunteers are always needed in every program, as well as future board members. In order to serve as a board member you must have attended three board meetings throughout the year. Please consider attending a board meeting held the 2nd Thursday of each month at 8 PM. Full details are shared on this website.

WINTER REC PROGRAMS

It is our intention to run a winter rec basketball program, immediately followed by a rec volleyball program, within the guidelines set by the IDPH. The expectation is to post open registration within the next few weeks. Due to the current classification of basketball and volleyball as a Medium Risk sport, we may be forced to place a hard cap on the amount of registrations by age level. So once you receive the notice of open registration, please act quickly to secure a spot for your son or daughter.

SPONSORSHIP

Thank you for participating in the Panda Express Fundraiser on September 17, 2020. We raised $114.76. Every little bit helps. We expect to do several more of these over the coming months focusing on restaurants within Homer Glen. Stay tuned.

Sponsorship opportunities are always available and are desperately needed now more than ever. Something that everyone can do to lend a hand is to ask a business owner if they are a sponsor of HAC. If they're not, just ask them to visit HomerSports.com to download a sponsorship form to see how they can support Homer Glen youth sports programs. If they already do...be sure to thank them for their support of our children.
