*Rec program levels are determined by the current age/grade level at the time of registration. Travel program age levels are determined differently.

Recreation programs start at age 4-6 with our Shetland League. The Shetland League is co-ed and instructional. 6-8 year olds play Pinto level softball. 9-10 year olds play Mustang level softball. It is at the Mustang level that there is no more coach pitch or coaches allowed on the fields. 11-12 year olds play Bronco level and 13-14 year olds play Pony level.

Recreation programs run April-June, then depending on interest, an additional offering of Fall Ball may take place in September-October. HAC has no fundraising commitments in our recreational programs. Please refer to the on-line sign up section for complete pricing.

Registration typically takes place in January through February each year.

**PLEASE NOTE** Due to low enrollment numbers, some age groups may be placed in a local league outside HAC that will require some travel to neighboring towns (Lockport and/or Lemont, potentially others). This will be determined once the enrollment period is over in March.

PART TIME FIRE TRAVEL programs involve a tryout, typically held in August. The team trains indoors January-March, then players join their respective recreation league program in April. The FIRE team may play 8-10 games in addition to their recreation schedule April-June. There may also be additional practices. In June, the FIRE teams enter 3-5 tournaments at the conclusion of the recreation seasons. FIRE teams DO NOT play in the fall. FIRE program fees can vary based on team winter training /clinics and tournament schedule. Fundraising opportunities are offered to defer fees. Fees range from $125-$250, in addition to recreation fees.

FULL TIME HEAT TRAVEL programs involve a tryout for the team in July-August. The team then plays fall tournaments and/or games, in addition to practicing. The team trains during the winter season indoors, then plays a season of 30-60 games, including 4-10 tournaments April-July. HEAT program fees can vary based on team training, clinics and tournament schedule. Fundraising opportunities are offered to defer fees. Fees range from $750-$1,500, payable in installments throughout the year.
