The full-time travel program consists of HOMER HEAT for boys and HOMER HEAT for girls. This program allows children to play a more competitive schedule than the recreation and part-time HEAT programs. Players in the FULL-TIME HEAT program are not allowed to play recreation. The HEAT players are selected from tryouts that are open. The HEAT players practice several times a week and play a much longer schedule against other travel programs.
The part-time travel program consists of HOMER HEAT for boys and HOMER HEAT for girls. This program allows children to play a more competitive schedule than a recreation only program. Players in the PART-TIME HEAT program must play recreation also. The HEAT players are selected from tryouts consisting of players from the recreation program. The HEAT players practice more (usually another 1-2 days per week) and play in leagues and tournaments outside the recreation schedule.
